The MVA has been co-created by Internews and partner organizations that share a mission to preserve fact-based news and information media as the ‘fourth pillar’ of democracy. To achieve this, MVA partners work to ensure that media outlets can survive, thrive, adapt, and grow as businesses.

Microsoft, USAID and Internews are leading the  MVA (Media Viability Accelerator) Forward program with implementing partner organizations including Free Press Unlimited, Global Forum for Media Development, IREX, SembraMedia, and Thomson Reuters Foundation collaborating to define and expand the MVA.

Benefits for Implementing partners:

  • Collaborate to steer the direction of the MVA.
  • Support your media partners to benefit from MVA insights, MVA grants and a hub of ideas and solutions.
  • Apply for funding to integrate the MVA into programs or develop solutions.
